Episode 2 – Into the Forest

The next morning, David, Samuel, and Mary packed their bags with food, water, ropes, and flashlights. They set off toward the forest that lay at the edge of town, the map clutched tightly in David’s hands.

At first, the journey was exciting. Birds chirped overhead, sunlight streamed through the tall trees, and Samuel kept cracking jokes to keep everyone’s spirits high. But as they went deeper, the forest grew darker and eerily quiet.

Suddenly, they stumbled upon another traveler—a young woman named Grace, who carried a backpack and a walking stick.
“Are you three also looking for Eldoria?” she asked with a smile.
Mary frowned. “How do you know about it?”
Grace tapped her bag. “I found pieces of the same map in my grandfather’s belongings. Looks like our families might have known each other.”

Though Mary was suspicious, David and Samuel welcomed Grace into the group. With four people, they felt stronger.

As night fell, they set up camp, but strange noises echoed through the forest. A distant growl. The rustle of heavy footsteps. Then, glowing eyes appeared in the dark.

Samuel grabbed a stick. “Uh, guys… I think we’re not alone.”

A pack of wild wolves emerged from the shadows, teeth bared. The group huddled together, their hearts pounding.

It was their first true test of courage.

Lesson: Unity and Courage in the Face of Fear

In life’s journey, challenges and dangers often arise when least expected. Just like David, Samuel, Mary, and Grace faced the darkness of the forest and the threat of wolves, we also encounter situations that test our courage and faith.

One key lesson here is the power of unity—when the group joined forces and welcomed Grace, they became stronger together. Even though Mary had doubts, their willingness to cooperate gave them greater confidence.

Another lesson is that true courage is not the absence of fear, but standing strong despite it. The glowing eyes in the forest symbolize the unexpected trials of life. Like Samuel who stood up with just a stick, sometimes we must take bold steps even when our resources seem small.

Ultimately, this episode reminds us that:

We should not journey through life alone—teamwork builds strength.

Suspicion should not blind us from accepting genuine help.

Facing fear with courage often prepares us for greater victories ahead.
