The journey to the Circle of Wisdom was long and arduous. The path was treacherous, winding through dense thickets and rocky terrain. Larka, Ares, and Freya moved cautiously, their senses on high alert. The air grew colder as they neared the grove, and an eerie silence settled around them.
When they arrived, the Elders were already gathered, their fur silvered with age and their eyes filled with ancient wisdom. Elder Thalia, the oldest and most revered, stepped forward to greet them.
“Welcome, young ones,” she said, her voice soft but commanding. “We have been expecting you.”
Larka bowed her head respectfully. “Elder Thalia, we seek your guidance. A creature named Morwen, the Seeker, has entered our territory. We fear for the balance of The Woods.”
The Elders exchanged glances, their expressions grave. Elder Thalia spoke again, her tone somber. “Morwen is a dark force, one that has been foretold in our legends. He seeks to disrupt the natural order and claim The Woods for his own. His power comes from the shadows, and he can manipulate the very essence of the forest.”
Ares stepped forward, his eyes blazing with determination. “How can we stop him?”
Elder Thalia nodded approvingly. “Courage and unity will be your greatest weapons. You must gather the packs and stand together. Only through unity can you hope to challenge Morwen’s dark power.”
Freya, always the strategist, asked, “What about his minions? We saw shadowy figures with him. How can we defend against them?”
Elder Thalia’s gaze softened. “The shadows can be defeated by light. Use the fireflies that inhabit the deepest parts of The Woods. Their light can weaken Morwen’s minions and give you the advantage.”
Armed with this knowledge, Larka, Ares, and Freya returned to their pack, their hearts filled with a renewed sense of purpose. They knew the battle ahead would be difficult, but with the wisdom of the Elders and the unity of the packs, they had a fighting chance.
